Equipment Description (all models)
Battery Powered...with an expected battery life of 3-4 years. Some last much longer. All models are supplied with the REPLENISHABLE QUIZ-TIME POWERPACK, made up of ten 9-volt heavy-duty batteries. Instructions for replenishing are on the carton under the light panel, and single cells can be purchased locally. (We also supply this POWERPACK as an alternative to replace the long 90-volt battery when needed in our earlier models).
Seat Pads...are assembled in strings of five each...one string for each team. Unit is designed so that any of the seats may be turned off if not needed. The seat pads will lie on any type of chair or bench without difficulty. They need not be fastened to the chair and will cling to the chair when in use. All pads are interchangeable.
Handheld Switches...work with existing Quiz-Time Models. The Set of 5 will plug into Remote Cord or into Control Panel. May be combined with Seat Pads.
Set-Up Time...is extremely fast. The entire system can be set up or taken down in just a few minutes.
Remote Control...is accomplished with the remote cords provided (over 18' long). On the Model 250, a double cord that can handle two teams is used. On the Model AJ 350 an additional single cord is used for the third team. On the Model AJ 450 a second double cord is used. All cords are interchangeable. If just two teams are quizzing, simply store the second cord.
The Control Panel...is purposely designed thin (about 2"). This permits its use directly by the quizmaster if desired. The panel serves as a lid for the carrying case and is removable.
Attractively Designed...for hard use. Red Levant Pyroxylin* covering on the Model 250 case . Models AJ 350 and AJ 450 are molded of red plastic with white slide closures.
Inter-Connect Feature...(on all models) enables you to join any unit with another if you wish to handle more quizzers at one time. A special jumper cord can be obtained from QUIZ-TIME SYSTEMS for this purpose for $10.00. Or you can make your own per instructions.
Warranty Is For One Year...for all parts and labor. Because of the simplicity of design, repair is normally accomplished in the field with parts and diagnoses coming from our office.
Orders...require a $100 deposit. Upon receipt, an invoice number is assigned, and shipping is anticipated within 2 - 6 weeks. The payment balance is required before actual shipping.
Overseas or Camp Orders ... require a lead-time of 6 - 8 weeks.
